Hi, I’m Birdie — the hands and heart behind all things Orange Bird. What began in 2012 as a creative adventure with a friend has grown into a heartfelt way for me to share warmth, comfort, and a little joy through handmade pieces.
Every item in the Orange Bird line is crafted by me — from the first stitch to the final leather tag — with the hope that it brings love and cozy comfort to whoever wears it. My favorite moments are seeing someone slip on a piece and feeling that it was made just for them. That’s what Orange Bird is all about: offering a bit of handmade coziness and care, one stitch at a time.

From selecting the yarn to finishing each detail, I love being part of the entire making process. There’s something so special about creating with my hands — watching simple strands turn into something warm and full of life. In this photo, I’m staining and stamping the leather for my tags, one of the final touches that make each Orange Bird piece truly personal.
